What is the SECUREDC.INF template?

SECUREDC.INF is a pre-defined template that defines enhanced security settings that are least likely to impact application compatibility. The SECUREDC.INF template defines stronger password, lockout, and audit settings. It also limits the use of the LAN Manager and NTLM authentication protocols by configuring servers (domain controllers) to reject LAN Manager responses.
